Introduction
GlobalShiksha (hereafter called as “GS”, “us” or “we”), is committed to use and share your personal information sensibly and takes all the necessary precautions to keep our user’s data safe. The privacy policy describes our collection and use of personal information collected from you through online website on desktop and/or mobile. Here “you” and “your” refers to the user or a visitor of the GlobalShiksha website (logged in or not). Your use of the GS services is conditioned to acceptance of this policy.

1. What information GS collects about you?
ParentInformation: When a parent or guardian registers for an account to avail our services or contacts us through other platforms such as phone, Facebook and other social media, we may collect personal information such as a name, e-mail address, payment information, username and password.While you can browse some sections of our site without being a registered user, certain activities (such as practicing unlimited questions) do require subscription. We do use your contact information to send you progress report of skills and offers based on your previous usage of the interactive tool and the class(es) you have opted for.

Information we track when you use our service:
Like most websites and online services, GS collect certain types of usage information when you visit in.globalshiksha.com, read our e-mails or otherwise engage with us. For example, we need to use your information to process payments, personalize learning curriculum, provide Parents with information and reports about student and child performance and use of the online subscription, respond to inquiries and provide customer support.

Personalize your experience: We use information to tailor the content and information that we may send or display to users, to offer personalized content and instructions, and to otherwise personalize your experience while using the online subscription, including on various devices you may use to access the online subscription. We collect statistics to better understand how users access and use our online subscription, monitor the effectiveness of our online subscription, detect usage patterns, and to diagnose or fix technology problems. We also use information to demonstrate the effectiveness of the online subscription and perform research, and to develop, support, and improve our online subscription and other educational products and services.

Communicate with you: We use your information to provide transactional notifications for certain activities relating to your use of our online subscription. From time to time, we may send periodic promotional or informational e-mails to Parent users. We do not use Student Data to send marketing communications, and we do not send marketing communications to student or child users. You may opt-out of certain communications (e.g., marketing or certain notifications about your use of the online subscription) by following the opt-out instructions contained in the e-mail.

Promote Safety and Security and respond to legal process: We use information to promote the safety and security of our online subscription, our uses and other third parties. For example, we may use the information to authenticate users, facilitate secure payments, detect and prevent fraud and other harmful activities, respond to legal requests or claims, and enforce our terms and policies.

3. How does GS share your information?
We may share personal information with our other corporate entities and affiliates to help detect and prevent identity theft, fraud and other potentially illegal acts; correlate related or multiple accounts to prevent abuse of our services; and to facilitate joint or co-branded services that you request where such services are provided by more than one corporate entity. 5. Opt-Out
GlobalShiksha provides all users with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving non-essential (promotional, marketing-related) communications from us on behalf of our partners, and from us in general, after setting up an account.
